10. Summary of thesis results:

During the survey, we only focused on two sets of Vietnamese language teaching textbooks for foreigners that are commonly used in Vietnam. Those are the textbooks of Nguyen Viet Huong and the textbooks of the Institute of Vietnamese Studies edited by Doan Thien Thuat.

The thesis includes 3 chapters:

Chapter 1: Theoretical basis

Chapter 2: The thesis has surveyed the verbs of feeling and speaking in some Vietnamese teaching materials for foreigners. During the survey, we have classified the subtypes of verbs of feeling and the subtypes of verbs of speaking separately.

Chapter 3: The thesis has made some comments after examining the verbs of feeling and speaking such as: The distribution of verbs of feeling and speaking according to level; the evidence in many documents is sometimes academic, rigid, and inflexible; besides, the thesis also makes suggestions and comments to make Vietnamese teaching materials for foreigners more complete and vivid.

The novelty of the topic is to point out the semantic features in specific communication contexts of verbs of feeling and speaking. From there, it helps learners understand more easily and be more flexible when communicating with native speakers.

11. Practical application:

The research results of the thesis will be practical documents for teachers and students, helping to improve the quality of teaching and learning Vietnamese; at the same time, the thesis also shows the unique linguistic and cultural identity in communication and behavior of Vietnamese people, thereby creating curiosity and interest for students.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

In the survey, we just focused on two most popular textbooks that teach Vietnamese for foreigners in Vietnam.

The first one is Nguyen Viet Huong's textbook and the second one belongs to the Vietnamese Institute of which Doan Thien Thuat is the chief author.

The thesis comprises of 3 chapters:

Chapter 1: Foundation

Chapter 2: The thesis explores the feeling verbs and talking verbs in several teaching Vietnamese for foreigners documents. In the survey, we also categorized sub type feeling verbs and subtype talking verbs.

Chapter 3: The thesis gave comments about feeling verbs and talking verbs after the survey;

the distribution of feeling verbs and talking verbs currently proves, in many academic documents to be inflexible. Besides, the thesis also gave advice on how to make teaching Vietnamese to foreigners documents more engaging and accessible.

The new topic shows the different meanings of feeling verbs and talking verbs in different contexts, so the students can easily understand the core ideas of a lesson and it allows then to be more flexible when talking with native speakers.

11. Applicability in practice:

The results of the thesis will be useful documents for lecturers and students, raising the quality of teaching and learning Vietnamese. It also shows the character of language unique culture, unique ways of communication and behaviors of Vietnamese.
