Specifically, it outlines and analyzes the policies, measures, and current state of Russia-EU trade relations and assesses the impact of oil on these relations. Based on this, the thesis offers an assessment and outlook for Russia-EU relations in the future.

The thesis presents the concept of energy, oil, the status of the world's energy resources and the importance of energy to the national economy in the world as well as with Russia and EU.
The thesis also analyzes oil factors affecting Russia - EU relations from 2000 to present. In particular, gives and analyzes the policies and methods about the status of the trading relationship between Russia and EU and assess the impacts of the oil factor in relations to Russia - EU. From there, the thesis gives reviews and prospects Russian-EU relations in the next time.
