10. Summary of the thesis results:
- In the context of industrialization and modernization in Vietnam, marriage and family are undergoing rapid changes. This is especially true for marriages among ethnic minority groups, including the Red Dao people.
Na Ca is one of the localities in Bac Kan where the Red Dao people have lived for generations. Therefore, traditional customs and practices regarding marriage and family are relatively well preserved. However, with the general development of the country, the Red Dao people of Na Ca have undergone significant changes in the economic, living, cultural, and educational spheres, and this has had a considerable impact on marriage and family life.
- Through this research, the thesis aims to understand the changes in marriage and family among the Red Dao people of Na Ca village, examining how these changes have occurred – which traditional elements have changed, and which are still preserved by the people. It also seeks to identify new elements that have been incorporated into the culture of the Dao people in this area.

- In the context of industrialization - modernization in Vietnam, marriage and family have been making rapid changes, especially the marriage of fellow ethnic areas including the Red Dao.
- Na Ca is a region of Bac Kan where the Red Dao community has lived for many generations until now. Therefore, the traditional customs in marriage and family are kept completely. However, facing the development of our country, the Red Dao Ca Na has significant changes in the economic field, life, culture - education... This changes cause significant affected in marriage and family.
- Through this research, we want to study about the changes in marriage and family of the Red Dao in Na Ca, conduct a review of the processes of changes: how they took place, which traditional elements systems have changed, which traditional elements are reserved, and discover new elements that have been assimilated into the culture of the Dao here.
