Thereby, the thesis has sketched a comprehensive picture of the influence of Buddhism on Korea.
Monday,The thesis has clarified the profound influence of Buddhism in the customs and culture of Korea since ancient times. At the same time, the thesis proves that the activities in modern Korean society today are closely linked and related to Buddhism. The thesis contributes to the study of the culture of modern and still very traditional Korea.

Firstly, the thesis has summarized general information of the birth context and development of Buddhism as well as the ups and downs of Buddhism in Korea. The thesis shows clear proofs of the great role of Buddhism in Korean history and up to now, Buddhism has still played an important part in contemporary Korea. The thesis outlines the panorama of Buddhism influenced on Korea.
Secondly,the thesis has clarified the deep impacts of Buddhism on Korean customs and culture from generation to generation. At the same time, the thesis proves that the activities in contemporary Korea are still closely attached to Buddhism.
