Summary of Thesis Results: After surveying the content of social critique and the form of expression of articles in the "Consultation and Criticism" section of the Dai Doan Ket newspaper, we have drawn conclusions about the strengths and weaknesses of the section. Specifically, the section has closely followed the principles and objectives of the Dai Doan Ket newspaper, gathering heartfelt opinions from renowned intellectuals to contribute to the improvement of major policies and guidelines of the Party and State, so that these policies and guidelines truly come into life, aligning with the Party's will and the people's aspirations. Regarding limitations, the critical aspect of the articles is not particularly prominent, and sometimes the topics of critique are repetitive. Furthermore, the lengthy length and unappealing presentation make it difficult for readers to follow. Based on these strengths and weaknesses, we propose several solutions focusing on the content and format of the column and for the editorial leadership. Through this, we hope to contribute a small part to improving the quality and effectiveness of the column in order to attract a wider readership and build more trust in Dai Doan Ket newspaper in particular and the Vietnamese press system in general.
