Studying the influence of the concept of class identity in Vietnamese revolutionary literature during the period 1945-1985, the thesis aims to understand and re-examine a past period of the country's literature in order to arrive at a comprehensive view and objective assessment of the achievements as well as the limitations of Vietnamese literature from after the August Revolution to before the Doi Moi (Renovation) period.
