First of all, the author has systematized the theoretical basis of visual information on electronic newspapers in Vietnam today, and at the same time built criteria for evaluating visual information based on two perspectives: information and visual perspectives.

Accordingly, the thesis focuses on surveying two specific newspapers, namely Nhan Dan Electronic Newspaper and VOV Electronic Newspaper. After conducting a thorough survey, the author has made an assessment of the actual situation on the two selected newspapers, pointing out the strengths as well as the limitations that still exist in the use of visual information.

Finally, the author raises some issues with the production of visual information, from which he proposes some solutions and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of visual information on electronic newspapers in Vietnam today.
