With the goal of developing tourism into a key economic sector of the locality, in recent years Lang Son province has paid great attention to investing in development with a focus on the tourism sector, especially attaching importance to the development of community tourism. In Bac Son, the participation of local communities in tourism activities not only improves the income and life of local people, ensures the livelihood of the community but also promotes indigenous culture, enhances the use of natural resources. Due to the impact of the CoVid-19 pandemic, the tourism industry is closed, people are forced to change their jobs to be able to take care of their families economically. The tourism industry is open, causing a shortage of human resources for the tourism industry at the tourist destination of Bac Son district, Lang Son province.
Realizing the importance of community participation in tourism activities in Bac Son district, Lang Son province, the thesis has conducted research on the level of factors promoting and barriers hindering community participation. From there, propose solutions to help increase participation and limit the impact of influence on the participation of local communities.
The topic has analyzed the current situation and barriers of local communities participating in tourism activities through in-depth interviews, data processing, and building a Pretty scale questionnaire to measure the level of community participation in tourism promotion activities. From there, solutions are proposed to enhance the participation of local communities in tourism activities in Bac Son district, Lang Son province.
