10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis focuses on researching common Portuguese phonetic errors among Vietnamese students. The main objective of the study is to identify errors and determine their causes in order to propose solutions to correct these errors. Through analysis, we found that the phonetic errors frequently encountered by students mainly stem from two causes: objective and subjective. The objective cause is the difference in the phonological systems of Portuguese and their native language, while the subjective cause is the students' lack of firm grasp of phonetic rules.
11. Practical applications: From the perspective of teachers, the thesis helps them improve their teaching methods and develop learning materials to help students overcome phonetic errors. From the perspective of learners, the thesis can help students overcome common pronunciation errors and improve their communication skills.
12. Future research directions: We hope to expand the scope of this topic further to identify all the Portuguese phonetic errors that Vietnamese students make, in order to support them in achieving the best possible results in their studies.
