10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis has established a theoretical foundation for digital libraries by summarizing concepts, identifying individual factors influencing the ability to use digital library services, and setting criteria for evaluating this ability. Additionally, the thesis introduces the Library of Hanoi University.
Through the survey, this thesis analyzed the current state of digital library usage skills and information retrieval skills among students. The results showed that students faced many difficulties and challenges when using digital library services. There were no significant differences in information retrieval skills based on gender or course. Students' internet usage time was not significantly related to these skills.
This thesis offers recommendations to improve students' use of digital library services: enhancing online training and support, optimizing the library system and interface, and developing a digital collection of materials.

Further research directions for this thesis could include: a deeper analysis of factors influencing digital library literacy, an evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs, a comparison of literacy among students from different universities, and the application of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Additionally, research into digital resource needs by discipline, an assessment of the impact of service improvements, and the potential for digital library integration between universities are also potential areas of study. These studies will deepen our understanding of digital library literacy and enhance service quality in higher education environments.
