10. Summary of thesis results:

Science and technology play a huge role in ensuring the development of every organization as well as every country. In the field of production and business, large enterprises have invested a lot in R&D activities, both in terms of organization and finance. The R&D department is closely linked to production and business, the pillar of R&D and innovation. Because it is R&D activities that help enterprises survive in the market, develop and improve their competitiveness in the market, bring profits and achieve business goals. R&D activities help enterprises manage their work better, use capital effectively, use labor effectively, perfect and improve products, create new products, etc. Competition is the driving force for enterprises to innovate, R&D is the driving force for development and the development of R&D activities in enterprises is directly proportional to the competitiveness of enterprises in the market.

In the Vietnamese electricity market, EVN has been a monopoly enterprise for many decades in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity, so basically, there is no competition. Therefore, there is no motivation to promote EVN to innovate, creating a premise for R&D activities in EVN to develop. In the innovation process, EVN itself also recognizes the importance of R&D activities for enterprises. EVN itself has also seen enterprises (Viettel, Samsung, ...) investing and organizing R&D activities for enterprise development. With the current monopoly position of the electricity industry, EVN has both individual and collective economic benefits without the need for innovation, and of course, whether or not there are R&D activities is no longer important. From the research of the thesis topic, it can be said that the underlying cause is that the monopoly position and role have hindered R&D activities at EVN. At the same time, the thesis initially proposes solutions to promote EVN to develop R&D activities, bringing benefits to EVN itself, the community and society.

11. Practical applicability: Contribute to EVN leaders at all levels to specifically recognize the barriers caused by their business's monopoly in order to find solutions to help EVN as well as the Vietnamese electricity industry integrate with the market economy, innovate, be dynamic and develop in the coming time.

12.Further research directions: We see that there are many factors that affect enterprises, determining how and how enterprises innovate. Specifically, the thesis has mentioned the case of EVN, where monopoly has hindered R&D activities, and that is only one aspect, one problem; That is, there are many other factors besides monopoly. I think that the factors of science and technology resources, people, technology, culture, etc. may also be factors that hinder R&D activities at EVN. These are issues that need to be studied to find a complete solution to integrate EVN as well as the Vietnamese electricity industry into the market economy, innovate, be dynamic and develop in the coming time.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: ..............................................................................

Science and technology has a huge role to ensure the development of all organizations and all countries. In the field of business, large enterprises have a big investment in R&D in both in the organization and financing. R & D associated with the manufacturing business, the backbone of R & D and innovation. Because the R & D activities help businesses survive, develop and enhance their competitiveness in the market, profitable and achieve business goals. R&D helps enterprises/businesses manage better jobs, using capital efficiently, employers effectively, finishing, product innovation, as new products,... The competition is motivation pushed to the enterprise innovation; R & D is the driving force for the development and growth of R & D activities in enterprises proportional to the competitiveness of firms in the market.

In the power (electricity) market of Vietnam, EVN's monopoly business for several decades both in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity, so, basically, the competition is not there. Therefore, there is no incentive to promote innovation EVN, as prerequisite for R & D activities in the development of EVN. During the renovation process, EVN itself recognizes the importance role of R & D activities for the business. EVN itself has seen businesses (Viettel, Samsung ...) investment, organization of R & D activities for the development of enterprises. With a monopoly of power sector today is economic benefit individuals or collective EVN are without innovation, and of course whether or not R&D is not important anymore. From the study of the thesis, it can be shown that from the underlying cause of the position and role monopoly hindering R&D activities in EVN. Also thesis initially offers solutions to promote the development of EVN R & D activities, beneficial to the EVN, community and society.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

This thesic will have contribution to leadership at all levels of EVN recognized by specific barriers proprietary enterprise solutions put them to EVN and the Vietnamese power sector integration with the market economy, innovation, dynamism and development in the future.

13. Further research directions, if any:

We understand that there are many factors that impact on business, business decisions, such as how innovative. specifically, the thesis describes the case of EVN's monopoly hindering R&D, and that's just one aspect of a problem. They mean that there are many other factors in addition to exclusive. That might be factors of resource S&T, people, technology, culture... they are also factors that hinder R & D activities in EVN. These are issues that need to be studied continuously to give complete solutions for EVN as well as Vietnam's power sector to integrate into the market economy, innovation, dynamism and development in the future.
