10. Summary of the thesis results:

- Based on the collected documents, the author first asserts that this is the first scientific work to study the Vietnamese Communist Party's perspective on Vietnam-Cambodia relations from 1979 to 1997. Therefore, the thesis has opened up a new approach to the historical relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia.

- The thesis presented and analyzed the basic and main contents of the Party's policies and guidelines regarding Vietnam's relationship with Cambodia during the period from 1979 to 1997. Through this, it objectively reconstructed the history of Vietnam's relationship with Cambodia under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

- Through this research, the author has boldly presented the fundamental achievements and limitations in the Vietnamese Communist Party's foreign policy towards Cambodia, thereby drawing some lessons to contribute to the future development of Vietnam-Cambodia relations.

11. Practical applications: This thesis can be used as research material for history students.

Therefore, the thesis has opened up a new approach in relations between Vietnam and Cambodia in the past.

- Thesis presented, analyzing the basic and major contents in the policy, highlighting the conception of the Vietnamese Communist Party towards the relations of Vietnam and Cambodia in the period from 1979 to 1997. Thereby, it helps reconstruct an objective relations history between Vietnam and Cambodia under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

- Through the research process, the author has boldly launched fundamental achievements and limitations in conception, the foreign policy towards Cambodia of the Communist Party of Vietnam, then draws some experiences to contribute to the development of the relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia in the future.
