The thesis focuses on the basic issues of venture capital funds, characteristics of technological innovation activities, assessing the role and activities of venture capital funds in Vietnam, assessing the capital needs of technological innovation activities. The thesis emphasizes the role of venture capital funds in technological innovation activities, the conditions for forming venture capital funds for technological innovation activities in Vietnam include having a truly perfect market economy, having venture capitalists willing to invest capital and having to have formed institutions of the stock market. The thesis has analyzed the unprepared factors of forming venture capital funds for innovation activities as well as providing the basis for the prospect of forming funds in the future.

The thesis focuses on concepts such as venture capital fund, the characteristic of technological innovation, evaluating the role and the activities of the venture capital funds in Vietnam, evaluating demand for capital of technological innovation. The thesis highlights the roles of venture capital fund for technological innovation activities, the conditions to establish the venture capital fund for the activities of technological innovation in Vietnam such as the market economy, the venture investors willing to invest, make sure the institution of the stock market. The thesis provides analysis of the elements which are not willing to establish the venture capital fund, moreover provides the foundations that are the opportunity to establish the venture capital fund in nearly the future.
