Nowadays, non-governmental organizations play an important role in the policy-making process, advocating for the development of sustainable development strategies and environmental protection in countries. In Vietnam, the participation of non-governmental organizations is actively supporting the process of handling environmental conflicts, especially when Vietnam is facing the risk of environmental pollution disasters, which can seriously affect people's lives.

With an independent role, these organizations are not only the focal point for receiving and mobilizing funding for programs and activities to protect resources and the environment towards sustainable development, but also contribute to proposing policy issues, helping policy makers have more arguments for the policy decision-making process in areas related to the environment, including the field of environmentally friendly technology. The thesis analyzes the factors leading to the participation of non-governmental organizations in the policy-making process on environmentally friendly technology in Vietnam; the advantages and disadvantages of non-governmental organizations as well as the role of non-governmental organizations in the policy-making process on environmentally friendly technology in Vietnam.

11. Practical application:

From analyzing the role of non-governmental organizations in the policy-making process, recommendations are proposed to strengthen the legal conditions for the operation of non-governmental organizations, in order to further strengthen the contribution of this type of organization in the policy-making process of environmentally friendly technology in Vietnam.

Today, non-governmental organizations play a significant role in the policy making process, especially in the strategies building for sustainable development, environmental protection in many countries. In Vietnam, the participation of non-governmental disaster organizations are actively supporting the process of handling the problems of environmental conflict, especially when Vietnam is facing the risk of environmental disaster, can cause serious impact on the lives of people.

As an independent, these organizations are not only focal point to receive and mobilize funding for the programs, activities to protect the environment and natural resources towards sustainable development but also contribute to the proposed policy issues, help policy makers have more arguments for making policy decisions related to the environment, including areas of environmental friendly technologies. Thesis focuses to (1) Recognize factors leading to increase participation of non-governmental organizations in environmental friendly policy making process; (2) Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of non-governmental organizations in making policy of environmentally friendly technology; (3) Identify the different roles of non-governmental organizations in making policy of environmentally friendly technology in Vietnam in recent years.

11. Practical applicability:

From analyzing the role of non-governmental organizations, the thesis proposes recommendations on strengthening the legal conditions for the operation of the non-governmental organizations, to further strengthen the contribution of these organizations in making policy of environmentally friendly technology in Vietnam
