10. Summary of thesis results:
Based on the use of interdisciplinary research methods, especially the theories of Cinema and character building, the thesis has pointed out the main factors that contribute to the success of building children's characters in Vietnamese feature films. With artistic techniques, using cinematic language in a subtle way, children's characters are built with refinements and variations to create an attractive character, creating the character image as well as an attractive, lively film. Children's characters enter cinema from life, and also come out of cinema with a certain aesthetic image and artistic image. Each director needs to select suitable actors and create story situations and valuable details so that actors have a place to act and express the character's life. The thesis wants to analyze in depth and synthesize all the factors that contribute to the success of children's characters, especially in the way of building characters using cinematic artistic techniques. From there, when filmmakers want to build children's characters, they will have an accurate and comprehensive view. Through studying children's characters through three filmsThe White-ringed Bird, Mom is Away and Bi, Don't Be Afraid, we explain specifically how filmmakers build child characters. How are cinematic techniques used to build the image of child characters from staging, using sound and light and giving space for child characters, especially avoiding dogma, rigidity... All will be pointed out specifically in the thesis.
11. Practical application:
Films about children are getting more and more attention as the country develops and integrates. Building children's characters and the image of children's characters in feature films is a big issue. This is a topic that has not been summarized, is new, has theoretical and practical value, and is feasible for writing a master's thesis. Moreover, currently the field of films about children is lacking and has not met the demand. The young audience lacks films, and orients themselves to another childhood world through foreign film products, where the lifestyle and culture are different from ours. In terms of practical basis, the 3 research films were evaluated by experts as successful at the time of their release and some works are considered classics of Vietnamese cinema. This research will be of great practical value, and will be a reference for screenwriters and filmmakers.

Recently, Vietnamese cinema has made significant changes and achieved certain successes, however, in the field of children's topics, exploiting children's characters is still open. Especially films adapted from children's literature. The author wishes to learn more about how to successfully adapt a film because the treasure trove of literature for children is very rich and also very suitable for national aesthetic culture. Learn the artistic techniques to build children's characters in adapted works so that when the film is released in theaters, it not only has good revenue but also has high artistic quality.

Based on using interdisciplinary research methods, especially the theory of movies and building characters, the thesis points out the major factors to build children characters successfully in the Vietnamese movie films. With the artistic crafts, cinema language used in a subtle way, children characters that are built with the refinement and variations will create iconic characters as well as attractive and lively films. To build children characters from the real life entering the cinema, and also from the movie come to life with the aesthetic icon, a certain artistic image, each director should choose suitable actors and create comic situations, as well as more expensive details for actors to depict characters' life. The writer wants to go deep analysis on all the elements to the success of the children characters, especially in how to build characters by the artistic crafts of cinema in an integrated manner. From there, the filmmakers who want to build children characters will have an accurate and comprehensive look. Recently, Vietnamese cinema has been taking significant steps forwards and achieving certain success, but the array of topics on children, child characters exploitation is left open. Especially the films were adapted from the works of children's literature. The writer wants to learn more about how a film is adapted successfully because literary treasure for children is very rich and also very consistent with the national aesthetic culture. Learning the artistic craft to build children characters in the adaptation movies at the cinema brings not only good profit but also gets highly artistic quality.
