10. Summary of thesis results:
The American press still prides itself on being “honest, fair, and objective,” but what is the truth? What is the concept of “media bias”? Does the relationship between journalists and politicians affect honest reporting? Does the public still trust American newspapers? This thesis will answer these questions.
The thesis will be useful for scholars interested in the history of world journalism in general and American journalism in particular. The thesis will be a premise for future research works related to the topic.
Based on research and analysis of the way US President Barack Obama, US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and US presidential candidate Donald Trump appear in foreign press, this study hopes to evaluate and comment on the current state of the US press: honesty and objectivity.
In addition to the introduction, conclusion and references, the thesis consists of three chapters as follows:
Chapter 1: Theoretical basis of the image of American politicians in electronic newspapers.
In this chapter, students focus on presenting and clarifying related concepts, building a theoretical framework for the research problem.
Chapter 2: The current state of foreign politicians' images in American online newspapers. In chapter 2, students examine the current state of American politicians' images through research on news and articles in 3 surveyed online newspapers. From there, they point out the advantages and limitations, and on that basis, draw some lessons in using the media to promote the images of politicians.
Chapter 3: Some suggestions. From the information and surveys in Chapter 2, students make some suggestions to improve the reporting skills of political reporters and suggestions for Vietnam in improving the image of politicians in the coming time.
11. Practical application:
With this topic, during a 1-year research period, the three typical figures: Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump on three leading American online newspapers, the thesis will provide a specific, detailed view for scholars interested in American politics.
Reporters and journalists in domestic politics or international news can find information in the thesis about how foreign press reports/exploits their country's politicians.
Politicians can learn lessons from this about how to appear in the press.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The United States of America is often proud of its “honest, fair and unbiased” journalism. However, is it true?
What is “media bias”? – How will the relationship between journalists and politicians will affect “honest report”? Will the public still believe in US's journalism after all? This thesis will answer these questions.
The thesis will be helpful for researchers who have concerns on the history of world journalism generally and US's journalism particularly. It will also set the premise for following related researches afterward.
On the basis of researching and analyzing the way President Barack Obama, Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and presidential candidate Donald Trump appear on press, this research is aimed to have a general view and make assessments on US's journalism: Its Honesty and Objectiveness.
Except for the Opening, the Conclusion and Referral Sources, the thesis includes 3 chapters:
Chapter 1: Basic Theoretical concepts of US politician's appearance in e-newspaper.
This chapter focuses on defining the topic's related concept and building up theoretical frame for the researched matter.
Chapter 2: Reality of how foreign politicians appearing on US e-newspapers.
Surveying US's politicians' appearance on US e-newspapers by researching 3 of e-newspapers of US. formation, strengths, weaknesses and lessons on how to apply communication in promoting politician's images will be shown.
Chapter 3: Some Suggestions and Solutions
From what we have achieved from chapter 2, some suggestions to improve journalism's skills for political journalists are given out. Besides, suggestions for Vietnam to improve our nation's politicians's images on press will be included as well.

On the other hand, politicians can be drawn from these experiences on how to appear effectively on press.
