10. Summary of thesis results:
Research on the role of the CAND press in the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the fatherland in the current period, starting from the event of China illegally placing the Haiyang 981 drilling rig in the exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of Vietnam in the CAND and CAĐN printed newspapers, is a necessary research direction of journalism, thereby contributing an additional information channel for the propaganda activities on the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands to be increasingly better in quality and effectiveness; affirming the important role and position of the CAND and CAĐN printed newspapers in the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands, thereby drawing lessons and solutions for improving the effectiveness of propaganda to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of our fatherland in the current period.
In chapter 1, the thesis has generalized and clarified a number of theoretical and practical issues on concepts related to seas and islands, sovereignty, and the struggle of the Vietnamese revolutionary press system in general and the CAND press in particular; introduced the organizational structure and functions of the CAND and CAĐN newspapers as well as the purposes, orientations, and preliminary results in the propaganda work to protect sea and island sovereignty in the current period.
In chapter 2, the thesis examines the aspects of quantity, frequency; content and form of expression of propaganda works on the propaganda work, the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the newspapers CAND and CAĐN. Regarding the content, the thesis has analyzed quite specifically and in detail the typical characteristics of the current propaganda work expressed through works in the press. Formal factors such as the system of specialized pages, columns; genre; illustrations; presentation methods. Based on the survey and analysis, the thesis points out the advantages and limitations of newspapers in propaganda on the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the current period.
In chapter 3, the thesis presents a number of solutions and recommendations to improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda for the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the current printed newspapers of the People's Public Security and the People's Public Security. The solutions are specifically proposed to the press leadership and management agencies; press agencies and journalists. At the same time, the thesis presents a number of recommendations to the press leadership and management agencies, press agencies and the Vietnam Journalists Association to create the most favorable conditions for newspaper editorial offices and press reporters in propagating the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of our Fatherland in the new period.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
Research on the role of the media in the fight and defense for the sovereignty of the island nation in the current period from the event that China illegally placed Hai Duong 981 rigs in the Vietnam's exclusive economic zone and continental shelf on People's Public Security Newspapers and Da Nang police Newspapers is a necessity of journalism, thus adding an information channel for the propagation of our struggle to defend the sovereignty of the islands to be more efficient and powerful; confirm the important role of the printing press in the nation's island sovereignty protection, from which to draw lessons and solutions to improve the efficiency of maritime sovereignty propaganda protection of our country in the current period.
In chapter 1, the thesis was generalized to clarify some issues about the theoretical and practical concepts related to maritime, sovereignty, the fight of Vietnam Press in general and People's Public Security Journalism in particular; introduction to the organization and functions of the People's Public Security Newspapers and Da Nang's public security press as well as thepurpose and orientation, the preliminary results of the maritime sovereignty propaganda protect in the current period.
In chapter 2, the thesis examines the aspects of quantity and frequency, the content and forms of expression of the propaganda works about the defense of the sovereignty of the country on People's Public Security Newspapers and Da Nang's public security press. In terms of content, the thesis has analyzed specifically and detailed about the typical characteristics of the current propaganda through the work of the press.On the point ofform, the thesis specializes in some extents such as pages, columns; type; illustrations; manner of presentation. Based on the survey, analysis, the thesis has pointed out the advantages and limitations of the report on the work in the propaganda and struggle to protect the sovereignty of the motherland islands in the present stage.
In chapter 3, the thesis outlines a number of measures and recommendations to improve the quality and efficiency of propaganda and struggle to protect the sovereignty of the country on People's Public Security Newspapers and Da Nang's public security press. The solutions are also proposed to leading press agencies and media management and other journalists. At the same time, the thesis outlined a number of recommendations to the leadership body, media management, press agencies and the Vietnam Journalists' Association to create the most favorable conditions for building newspaper editors, newspaper reporters in the propagation of our struggle to defend the sovereignty of our Homeland Island in the new period.

With this topic, thesis has helped to clarify some of the advantages and limitations of the propaganda of the struggle to protect the sovereignty of our Homeland island on People's Public Security Newspapers and Da Nang's public press today, thus contributing the basis for further study on how to struggle and propagate in a more effective way; devoting an additional source of information for researchers, authorities and media interested readers to propagate and protect the sovereignty struggle island of Fatherland in the press.
