The traditional lacquerware village of Ha Thai is located in Duyen Thai commune, Thuong Tin district, Hanoi. It is one of the oldest traditional lacquerware villages that has established a unique position in terms of the technical and artistic quality of its products within the system of lacquerware villages in the Northern Delta.
Research on the transformation of the traditional lacquer craft in Ha Thai village, Duyen Thai commune, Thuong Tin district, Hanoi city today has demonstrated the objective inevitability of the transformation process of the traditional lacquer craft in Ha Thai through the changes and their consequences. From this, solutions are proposed to develop the traditional lacquer craft in a way that both preserves traditional values and meets the demands of the new era, resolving conflicts related to economics, culture, society, and the environment, contributing to the further development of the lacquer craft.

The study on the current transformation of the traditional lacquer painting in Ha Thai village, Duyen Thai Commune, Thuong Tin District, Ha Noi City has proven the objectively indispensable transformation process of the traditional lacquer painting in Ha Thai village through changes and their consequences.
