Placing Pham Quynh in the context of Vietnam's socio-political situation in the early 20th century, studying and explaining the contradictory political actions and purposes in Pham Quynh's unity, analyzing the character Pham Quynh through the lens of political science, the thesis has pointed out the relationship between culture and politics, the position of "Nam Phong magazine" and the undeniable influence of the political figure Pham Quynh on social life; pointing out that "contradiction" is the common denominator of Vietnamese intellectuals in the early 20th century. The thesis also provides the results of current public opinion reactions to past and present assessments of Pham Quynh, the data is analyzed on a large data set (Big Data), surveying all Vietnamese content on the Internet over a period of 19 years, since the Internet appeared in Vietnam in 1997. This is the first time in Vietnam that the Big Data analysis method has been applied to a Master's thesis in Political Science in particular and social sciences and humanities in general.

11. Practical application:

Contribute an additional assessment of Pham Quynh from the perspective of political science, suggesting an approach from the quality and circumstances of Vietnamese intellectuals in the early 20th century. The thesis also initially tests the feasibility of applying Big Data analysis methods to research in social sciences and humanities in Vietnam.

- A part of French documents about Pham Quynh has not been translated and exploited yet, hopefully we can continue to exploit this source of documents.

- Expanding research towards public opinion, a practical research direction in political science.

By putting Pham Quynh in the picture of Vietnam's political environment in the beginning of the XX Century; by investigating and explaining his actions and political purposes that were conflict in consistency; by analyzing Pham Quynh through a political prism; The Thesis aims at showing the relation between Culture and Politics, the role of “Nam Phong Magazine” (Nam Phong Magazine) and the undeniable influence of Politician Pham Quynh on our society; and show that “conflict” is the common denominator of the early XX century Vietnamese intellectuals. This Thesis also provides the recent social reactions towards comments, evaluation on Pham Quynh since the previous time to recent time. The figures are analyzed based on Big Data, covering all the Vietnamese contents from all over the Internet during the last 19 years; since Internet first entered Vietnam (1997). This is the first time ever in Vietnam, a Master Thesis in politics in particular, and all Social – Sciences and Humanities in general, applying Big Data analysis into proving the listed statement.

This Master Thesis contributes an evaluation about Pham Quynh through the perspective of Political Science, suggesting an approach based on the Quality and Circumstances of the early 20th century Vietnamese intellectuals. This Thesis also initially evaluates the considerations of applying Big Data into studies on Social sciences and humanities in Vietnam.

- Part of the documents and data of Pham Quynh in French language have not been translated and studied; hopefully we can continue to exploit this materials.

- Expand the study in the direction of social opinion – a practical research in Political science.
