- The topic has clarified the current status of support activities for children with congenital heart disease in Hanoi by the Hanoi Children's Support Fund. In addition, it identifies the needs of children and their families after congenital heart surgery through the process of collecting information from children and their families (in-depth interviews at the children's families), from Fund staff, and local staff (labor-war invalids and social affairs staff of districts/towns/cities). The study identifies needs through the following criteria: age group, occupation, family circumstances, and the needs of different children and families receiving surgery support in different years.

- Based on the collection and analysis of information, it is possible to assess and identify the essential needs of children and their families after receiving support for congenital heart surgery. At the same time, it is also possible to identify internal and external factors that affect the response to the needs of children and their families after congenital heart surgery.

- From there, build support solutions for children and families after surgery based on community factors.
