10. Summary of thesis results: The thesis clarifies three issues:

- Firstly: Systematize the general scientific and theoretical foundations of sustainable tourism development, especially conducting in-depth research on issues related to ensuring sustainable economic, social, and environmental benefits in tourism development.

- Secondly: Research the potential and current state of tourism development in the Nha Phu lagoon area of ​​Khanh Hoa province. The research includes the potential of natural and cultural tourism resources; the current situation regarding tourists, management, investment and development, infrastructure, technical facilities, employment, tourism products, income, and promotion; and the current state of the natural and cultural tourism environment. From this, an assessment of the sustainability of tourism development in the Nha Phu lagoon area will be made.

- Thirdly: Based on the potential and current state of tourism development in the Nha Phu lagoon area, the thesis proposes directions and solutions to develop tourism activities in the Nha Phu lagoon area in a more sustainable direction.

11. Practical Application: The research results provide a basis for tourism businesses in the Nha Phu lagoon area to reassess their operations, identifying achievements, shortcomings, limitations, causes, and remaining issues. This will enable them to develop solutions to improve the effectiveness of sustainable tourism development. Furthermore, businesses in other localities can also refer to the research findings to learn from experience or learn how to organize tourism activities in a way that yields sustainable economic, social, and environmental benefits.
