The major result of thesis is an academic work on “Identifying cultural - historical tourist destinations and routes in Thua Thien Hue province”. Apart from the Introduction, Conclusion, Appendices and Reference list, the thesis consists of three chapters with the main results as follows:

- Firstly, the thesis researched and systematized theories of identifying tourist destinations and routes.

- Secondly, the thesis analyzes the influencing factors, the status of tourism activities and operations of cultural - historical tourist destinations and routes in Thua Thien Hue province.
