- The thesis studies the method of expressing fantasy characters in Vietnamese chi quai stories (through Viet dien u linh tap and Linh Nam chich quai luc) to point out the methods that Ly Te Xuyen and Tran The Phap used to express fantasy characters in their works. From there, we can see the achievements in building fantasy characters in Viet dien u linh tap and Linh Nam chich quai luc. Recognize the artistic characteristics of the genre of Vietnamese chi quai stories in the early stages. Contribute to further visualization of the path of Vietnamese fantasy prose.

- The thesis presents the premises for the birth of Viet Dien U Linh Tap and Linh Nam Chich Quai Luc and gives an overview of the author and the text of Viet Dien U Linh Tap and Linh Nam Chich Quai Luc.
