In particular, it concluded with highly practical solutions for Vietnam in responding to China's territorial expansion.
Previously, most research on China's territorial expansion focused solely on historical methods, lacking the application of a systematic approach, particularly international relations theory, to explain the motivations and reasons behind this expansion. In fact, there are not many scientific studies or articles on this topic that comprehensively analyze international relations theory. Therefore, this topic possesses profound theoretical and practical significance.

The issue of China's territorial expansion continues to evolve with complex developments involving many stakeholders, and the territorial disputes between China and several ASEAN countries from 2010 to the present are a highly topical issue.
