10. Summary of the thesis results:

- The thesis "Communicating about science and technology in online newspapers" is a research topic focusing on a new subject: online newspapers – a new form of journalism that has been and is experiencing rapid development.

- Adhering closely to the theoretical and practical issues and research objectives set forth, this thesis surveys the content and production processes of information on science and technology in four online newspapers: VnExpress, Dan Tri, VietnamPlus, and Dat Viet; conducts in-depth interviews with Party leaders on journalistic work, leaders of the science and technology sector, leaders of online newspapers, reporters, editors, and those in charge of science and technology sections of online newspapers; from this, the thesis provides initial assessments of science and technology information work in accordance with the directives and resolutions of the Party and State, while also identifying the successes, limitations, and causes of successes and limitations of online newspapers in communicating about science and technology.

- Based on that, the thesis proposes specific solutions and recommendations for state management of online newspapers; for the science and technology sector as the focal point for science and technology information; the issue of managing science and technology information sources for online newspapers; the issue of training and developing journalists in the field of science and technology, etc., thereby enhancing the role of online newspapers as a leading communication channel on science and technology.

This thesis can be used as a resource for research and for developing specialized topics, lectures, and textbooks to support the training of journalists in general, online journalists in particular, and units responsible for communicating about science and technology.
