- The thesis "Communication of science and technology in electronic newspapers" is a research topic on a new survey object, which is electronic newspapers - a new type of journalism that has been developing strongly.
- Closely following the theoretical and practical issues and the research tasks set out, the Thesis conducts a survey of information content and the process of producing information content on science and technology of 4 electronic newspapers: VnExpress, Dan Tri, VietnamPlus, Dat Viet; conducts in-depth interviews with Party leaders on press work, leaders of the science and technology sector, leaders of electronic newspapers, groups of reporters, editors, and heads of science and technology columns of electronic newspapers; from there, the Thesis has initial assessments of science and technology information work in the spirit of direction through documents and resolutions of the Party and State, and at the same time points out the successes, limitations, causes of success and limitations of electronic newspapers in science and technology communication activities.
- On that basis, the Thesis proposes specific solutions and recommendations for state management of electronic newspaper activities; for the science and technology sector as the focal point for scientific and technological information; the issue of managing science and technology information sources for electronic newspapers; the issue of training and fostering a team of journalists in the field of science and technology, ... thereby enhancing the role of electronic newspapers as a leading communication channel on science and technology.

The thesis can be used as a document for research and development of topics, lectures, and textbooks for training journalists in general, electronic newspapers in particular, and units in charge of communicating about science and technology.
