11. Summary of thesis results: The thesis studies cultural diplomacy, one of the three main pillars of diplomacy besides political diplomacy and economic diplomacy. The author first presents the concept and theory of cultural diplomacy as well as traditional cultural diplomacy of Korea and Vietnam. Then, the thesis studies the cultural diplomacy policies of Korea and Vietnam from 2000 to 2020. At the same time, the thesis compares and analyzes the similarities and differences between Korean and Vietnamese cultural diplomacy in the period 2000 - 2020 in terms of context, purpose, activities, participants and means of promotion. Through this analysis and comparison, the thesis attempts to draw out contents that can contribute to the development of cultural diplomacy in Vietnam in the future.
