Summary of thesis findings: Southeast Asia holds a key position, connecting the maritime transport markets between East Asia and Southeast Asia – a crucial factor impacting the current global economic structure. Today, relations between countries and regions in Southeast Asia are becoming increasingly important in international strategy. Furthermore, China and Southeast Asia are neighbors; to a certain extent, Southeast Asia serves as China's national security belt, a vital element for political stability, directly affecting the stability and development of the Chinese economy. With its rapid economic development, China's relations with the world are becoming increasingly closer. At the same time, the level of conflict and friction between China and Southeast Asian countries is also increasing, negatively impacting China's national security, politics, and economy. Therefore, China's building of national soft power and maintaining peace and development in Southeast Asia is of great significance.
Alongside China's growing hard power, China-Southeast Asia relations are becoming increasingly close, with China's influence growing stronger in Southeast Asia. This influence is not achieved through threats or deterrence of hard power, but is a natural result of cultivating and developing China's soft power in Southeast Asia. In recent years, China has built and developed its soft power in Southeast Asia through model reforms, improving its national image, cultural communication, cultural exchanges and cooperation, humanitarian aid, international dispute resolution, and actively contributing to the new international order. These activities have demonstrated a strong appeal. Furthermore, due to the unique and complex nature of Southeast Asia, China has both advantages and limitations in enhancing its soft power there. It is crucial to correctly identify China's advantages and limitations in building its soft power in Southeast Asia. It would be beneficial for China to effectively utilize its soft power, maintaining peace and common development in China and Southeast Asia.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: Southeast Asia is located in the fortress, connecting the shipping market of East Asia and Southeast Asia. It is the key effects about the economic structure of the world today. Nowadays the relationship among countries and Southeast Asia is becoming more and more important in the international strategy. What is more, China and Southeast are neighbors, to a certain extent Southeast Asia is Chinese national security perimeter, an important factor to Chinese political stability which directly affects the stability and development of the economy in China. With the rapid growth of economy in China, China ties with the world more and closely. Meanwhile, the number of friction and conflicts between China and countries in Southeast Asia also increased, which has a negative impact on Chinese national security, politics and economy. Thus, it is of great significance for China to build a national soft power and maintain regional peace and development in Southeast Asia.
Besides the growing strength of China's hard power, the relationship between China and Southeast Asian countries is becoming increasingly close, and China has shown a strong influence in Southeast Asia. This influence is not through threat or deterrence on hard power, but a natural result of fostering and developing Chinese soft power in Southeast Asia. In recent years, through the enhancements of China mode, national image, cultural communication, cultural exchanges and cooperation, humanitarian assistance, international disputes, and actively building new order of international community construction and development of the China way in the southeast region of soft power, and showing a strong attraction. In addition, due to the particularity and complexity of Southeast Asia in the world, China has both advantages and limitations in enhancing its national soft power in Southeast Asia. It is important to correctly know Chinese advantages and limitations on building up the national soft power in Southeast Asia. It will be a benefit for China to play well the role of soft power, maintain common peace and development in China and Southeast Asia.
