Migrant workers are an indispensable part of today's urban areas. Migrant workers contribute significantly to promoting the urban economy in particular and the national economy in general. However, the issue of community integration is a major obstacle for migrant workers and local authorities where immigrants live. In this study, we investigated Phuc Dong ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi city. This is a typical area with a large number of immigrants coming to work and live. Therefore, issues related to the community integration of migrant workers into the local community are always of concern here. Through collective activities, immigrants can better integrate into the local community. In which, factors from migrant workers and local authorities, local residents all have interactions, affecting the level of participation of immigrants in collective activities.

Through practical analysis, the research will help local authorities and policy makers make decisions to support immigrants to better integrate into the host community.

The topic suggests research directions on social security issues for immigrants.

However, community integration issues are a major obstacle for migrant workers and Local governments where immigrants live. In this study, we investigated in areas Phuc Dong, Long Bien District, Hanoi. This is a typical modern desks with large numbers of immigrants to work and live. Therefore the issues related to community integration of migrant workers in indigenous communities has always been interested in day. Through collective action, can help immigrants integrate better with indigenous communities. Which elements from migrant workers and local governments, local communities who are interacting and affecting the level of immigrant participation in union activities.
