Summary of thesis results: Besides age and occupation, gender is also considered an indispensable factor in shaping gender-specific language use – an expression of the division into two halves, male and female, in society. Within the scope of this thesis, we have clarified the impacts of gender factors on language use in terms of vocabulary, semantics, grammar, and thinking of Vietnamese people through experimental surveys on students. The results of this study further demonstrate that language is not only a means of communication and a tool for thinking, but also functions to consolidate and maintain social existence. Language has been used to influence and contribute to changing people's perceptions of gender, especially in the issue of gender inequality or bias in society or in language. These contents are specific examples of language planning. In addition, the thesis also contributes some data to clarify some signs of gender equality in the linguistic sphere. 12.
