Summary of thesis results: In this thesis, we have accomplished the following main tasks: Clarifying the advantageous characteristics of online newspapers in the process of social critique. These characteristics form the basis for online newspapers to create a synergistic force combining various forms of journalism. This is a significant advantage, especially in the process of online news sites conducting social critique. Clarifying the concept of social critique: What is social critique? The characteristics of social critique as well as the nature of social critique in journalism. From clarifying these characteristics, the research process on social critique and its characteristics in the following chapters will have a theoretical basis for application. From Chapter 1 of the thesis, the entire research process of the topic is illuminated under a clear and coherent theoretical system. This thesis also summarizes the information process as well as the social critique process in the two series of articles on the floods in Hanoi and the high-speed railway project. These two processes are essentially part of a larger process: critique of the issues raised in these two series. From a comprehensive study of these two processes, we find that they operate with different purposes, but are closely related and occur in parallel. The information process regarding these two events serves as the basis, premise, and most convincing "evidence" for the social critique process of the two online newspapers. Conversely, the social critique process gives the newsroom's information process depth, weight, and high social significance, beyond its purely informational purpose. A comprehensive understanding of these two events on these two online newspapers forms the basis for identifying the characteristics of the information process as well as the social critique process of each series of articles on these two online newspapers. In Chapter 3 of this thesis, building upon the overview of Chapter 2 and applying the theories from Chapter 1 and the research methodology section, we explored the techniques of information dissemination and social critique in the series of articles published on two online news sites. Within the framework of a master's thesis, these analyses and characteristics have certain limitations, such as the lack of a thorough and detailed analysis and application of the theoretical characteristics to the research on the two series of articles and the two news sites. However, the techniques identified in Chapter 3 are substantial enough to differentiate the social critique and information dissemination processes of online newspapers, specifically in the two series of articles on the floods in Hanoi and the high-speed railway project. 11. Practical Applications: This thesis contributes to a deeper understanding of how the two surveyed online newspapers, and online newspapers in general, can leverage their strengths and make improvements that are more appropriate to their position and level of influence. It clarifies a correct and trending direction for modern Vietnamese journalism in general in terms of information dissemination and creative work. For media managers and reporters directly involved in producing articles, the results of this thesis will open up many interesting avenues in the process of confronting and processing information. For media researchers in general and journalism and media students, the results of this thesis will add an interesting case study to the research on the social critique aspect of online newspapers as well as the function of modern journalism. 12. Future Research Directions: Based on the results of this thesis and the author's consistent research approach from the undergraduate thesis to the present, the author will continue to research social critique in modern Vietnamese media at deeper levels. Simultaneously, the author will focus on researching visual information channels, thereby developing research on visual communication. 13.
