Summary of the results of the thesis: Based on the basic theoretical issues of foreign information work (FOR), the thesis evaluates the achievements and limitations of FOR on the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Electronic Newspaper at present, thereby proposing solutions to innovate and improve the quality of FOR on the CPV Electronic Newspaper in the new situation. Specifically, the research results of the thesis can be summarized as follows: - The thesis systematically presents the importance of FOR work, the methods of conducting FOR work, the viewpoints of the Party and the State on FOR work; the role of the press, especially the electronic newspaper in FOR work. - In recent times, the CPV Electronic Newspaper has paid special attention to implementing the task of foreign information and has achieved many remarkable results. This is reflected in the richness and diversity of foreign information on the Vietnamese page as well as on the newspaper's foreign language pages such as the English, Chinese, and French pages. The information on the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper in recent times has clearly demonstrated its advantages such as a large amount of information, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, comprehensiveness, and correct political orientation... - Due to a number of objective and subjective reasons, the information on the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper in recent times has also inevitably encountered some shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome. Specifically, the information is scattered, not clearly showing the unique identity of the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper; the content of the fight against wrong views has not met the requirements. Regarding the form of information, there are also some limitations, the most obvious of which is the failure to fully exploit and take advantage of the strengths of the online newspaper, specifically: not promoting the high interactivity of the online newspaper; not doing a good job of arranging and presenting related news articles; has not fully exploited the strengths of Internet radio... - To promote the achieved results and overcome the limitations of the Internet, the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper needs to actively and synchronously implement a number of groups of solutions. Specifically, these are groups of solutions on leadership and direction; solutions on professional work; solutions on organization and personnel work; solutions on technical infrastructure and technology. To implement these solutions, not only does it require the efforts and creativity of the collective team of cadres, reporters, editors, technicians, and employees of the Newspaper, but it also requires the active support of the governing body and relevant authorities. 11. Practical applicability: Along with certain contributions to the research on electronic newspapers and information technology in general, the survey results, assessment of the current situation and solutions to improve the quality of information technology on the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper proposed in the thesis contribute to advising the Editorial Board of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper and the Newspaper's governing body (Central Propaganda Department) in the work of building and developing the Newspaper; at the same time, it can be used as a reference document for colleagues of press agencies, students and those working in foreign affairs, journalism and information technology. 12.
