Summary of Thesis Results: To date, no published document has comprehensively and systematically researched the content of current affairs – a topic receiving significant attention in contemporary Vietnamese journalism. Therefore, our thesis has attempted to address the most fundamental theoretical issues regarding the content of current affairs in contemporary Vietnamese print media. Through clarifying the concept and understanding of the issue, the thesis has affirmed that the emergence of current affairs content in Vietnamese print media is inevitable. From this, we have generalized the prominent functions that contribute to the media power of this content in Vietnamese print media. This thesis identifies the major content groups commonly addressed in current affairs articles in Vietnamese print newspapers, and more importantly, demonstrates how these articles utilize these content areas: from the Party's policies and the State's laws to human relationships within families and society, and ordinary, everyday events and phenomena. From there, the thesis delves into the art of conveying current affairs content in Vietnamese print newspapers by examining the sections, pages, and genres that focus on reflecting this content. Through this, the thesis generalizes the distinctive characteristics such as language, structure, and writing style often found in articles conveying current affairs content. Finally, the thesis points out the reciprocal relationship between current affairs information and the remaining journalistic information in Vietnamese journalism. Simultaneously, it presents recommendations and solutions to enhance the effectiveness of journalistic communication when addressing current affairs. 11. Practical application: This thesis contributes to outlining the most basic aspects of current affairs information in print media. From there, it highlights the value of this information format, its relationship with other aspects of journalism, and solutions to improve the effectiveness of information reflecting current affairs in Vietnamese print media. Therefore, our thesis has tried to raise the basic theoretical issues about this content on Vietnamese contemporary newspapers. By clarifying the concept and understanding of the mentioned issues, the thesis has confirmed the presence of these contents on Vietnamese newspaper is certain. Since then, we can generalize remarkable features which gain the communication power of it on Vietnamese newspaper. The largest group of content shown in this thesis is mentioned in articles in Vietnamese newspapers. Moreover, it shows the way how the article exploits this content: from the guidelines and policies of the Party, the State's law to human relationships in the family, society and events, text allegory phenomena, occurring in daily life. Since then, the thesis has been deeply studied the art of content delivery in Vietnamese newspapers by learning about the categories and professional pages that reflect the content. Thereby, the special characteristics such as language, structure appear in articles delivered the content that the thesis has been generalized. Finally, the thesis has shown the relationship between information of this kind of content and the rest kind of information which basically is information. At the same time, it raises the recommendations and solutions to enhance communication efficiency of the press when referring to the content. 12.
