10. Summary of thesis results:

According to the results of a practical survey, the attitude towards learning History of high school students is not strong, unstable and unclear.

Most high school students have realized the necessity and significance of History and have clearly defined their own goals when studying this subject. However, students' awareness of the necessity of the subject's content is not correct and there are still some students who study History just to complete the school education program.

Most high school students have little interest in History and only occasionally look forward to it. Students also show little satisfaction with the learning conditions for History, especially with the subject content.

It can be said that the number of high school students who are proactive and self-motivated with this subject only accounts for a very small percentage, and most students are active due to the strict regulations and rules of the school.

Perceptions of the necessity of History and the level of learning behaviors displayed in class differ between male and female students.

High school students' attitudes towards learning History are influenced by many factors, but the strongest influence is from the content of the subject program, followed by the teacher's teaching methods, the learning motivation factor, the habit factor and the self-study ability of the students themselves; then comes the influence of other factors.

11. Practical application:

The research results of the thesis can be a useful reference for educational planners, history teachers, etc., contributing to improving learning attitudes, fostering awareness of accuracy and interest in learning this subject of high school students.

12. Further research directions:

If possible, we will study the changes in learning attitudes of high school students in History after changing textbooks in 2018.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

According to the results of my recent actual survey, the attitude of high school students to historic learning is weak, unstable and unclear. Almost high school students can be aware of the necessity of learning History and determine clearly their learning purpose. However, the conception of high school students about the necessity of History is not explicit. A number of students learn this subject just to complete their obligatory curriculum in high school.

Most of the students are not interested in historic learning and from time to time they wait to learn this subject. They are not virtually satisfied with present methods of teaching, first and foremost contents of this subject.

It could be said that the number of high school students learn actively, positively and have self-awareness about History only makes up a very small proportion. Besides, most high school students show their positive learning attitude because of strict rules and regulations in their high school.

There is a difference between schoolboys and schoolgirls in awareness of necessity of History and the level of expressing their behavior in class.

The attitude of high school students to historic learning is affected by a lot of factors, but the strongest factor is the contents of subject, the next one is teaching method and then is students' learning motivation, habits as well as their self-education. The last but not least, there is an existence of other that also influences in the students' attitude factors of learning History.

11. Practical applicability, if any:

The result of thesis research is considered to be a useful reference source, especially for education planners, history teachers... with the aim to raise learning attitude of students, improve their knowledge related to history and foster their interests in learning history.

12. Further research directions, if any:

In case available conditions and time we will continue to research the change of attitude learning history of high school students after the new History textbook is published by Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training in 2018.
