10. Summary of the thesis results:

Vietnamese drama during the period of 1940-1945 was a period of maturity and development, reaching its peak. In particular, the emergence of verse drama contributed to the modernization of literature. During this period, historical themes became a dominant trend.

The dramatic poetic characteristics studied in this thesis include conflict, characters, structure, and time and space. Based on this, the thesis compares these with the fundamental ideological content of various works to further clarify the successes and contributions of some representative authors during the 1940-1945 period.

This thesis contributes to a new approach to the genre of drama during the 1940-1945 period from a poetic perspective. In researching the topic, the thesis analyzes and explains several characteristics and phenomena related to the subject under study: the differentiation of drama, the issue of the script, the issue of ideology, etc.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

- To see you understand the Vietnamese play in the period from 1940 to 1945 means the growth and development of great achievements. In particula, the birth of the versified play made up an important role to help modernize the literature of this period. In this stage, historical theme became a mainstream approach.

- The characteristics of the prosody studied in the thesis include here: characters, conflicts, composition in their time and space. On that basis the thesis compares the main contents of ideas in the plays with the successes and contributions of some leading playwrights of the period from 1940 to 1945.

- The thesis cotributes a way to approach types of play in 1940 – 1945 throuh studying the prosody. In the process of studying this topic, the thesis has analyzed and explained some of the charactersties and phenomena relating to the matters that are being studied such as differentiaton, scenarios and ideas.
