Prepositions in English are very important, because if learners use them incorrectly, it can cause misunderstandings in communication. The main cause of errors is the negative transfer of learners from Vietnamese to English, in addition to the differences in some corresponding structures and the perception of space and time between English and Vietnamese people are often not the same. Therefore, teachers need to clearly point out the causes of errors and how to fix them. However, the most superior error correction method is to create opportunities for learners to self-discover, self-correct their own errors and correct each other's errors.

Help new English students with basic knowledge of English prepositions so that they can recognize and correct their own mistakes when using English prepositions.

Prepositions in English is very important, because it will cause misunderstands in everyday conversations if learners couldn't use them correctly. The main reason causing error is the negative transference of learners from Vietnamese to English. Moreover, the differences about corresponding structures and cognition of space and time between English and Vietnamese are not often the same. Therefore, teachers need to specify the causes of the errors and how to fix it. However, the error correction method is said to favor Vietnam is to create opportunities for students self-discovery, self-correction and fix themselves to each other.
