- This thesis provides an overview of the process of Then singing and its formation among the Tay and Nung ethnic groups.

- To identify the unique characteristics of Then singing of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups through the content, art, performers, and performance style of Then singing in Lang Son province within the broader context of Then singing of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups in the Viet Bac provinces.

- This thesis once again affirms the value of Then singing as well as the importance of preserving and conserving the cultural heritage of the nation.

12. Practical applications: This thesis serves as a reference for students and trainees majoring in Literature, and those interested in Vietnamese folklore in general, and the folklore and folk culture of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups in Lang Son province in particular.
