10. Summary of the thesis results:

Based on theoretical research and the current situation regarding students' adaptation to the credit-based learning system at Chengdu University, the following results were obtained: Students' adaptation to the credit-based learning system at Chengdu University is clearly demonstrated in three aspects: awareness, attitude, and action, through the following basic learning actions: developing a study plan; registering for courses; attending theoretical classes; discussing and working in groups; practical work, fieldwork, and experiments; self-study and research; and self-assessment and evaluation. Generally, students have recognized the concept, basic characteristics, importance, and requirements of the actions and learning activities under the credit-based system, as well as their responsibilities when participating in credit-based learning. However, some of the most fundamental characteristics, requirements, and core tasks of students participating in credit-based learning remain unclear to them. In terms of attitude and behavior, students at Chengdu University adapt at an average level.

The manifestations and levels of adaptation varied among different student groups, with third-year students showing higher levels of adaptation than second-year students; there was a strong positive correlation between the three aspects of adaptation: cognition, attitude, and action.

Overall, students at Chengdu University adapt at an average level to the credit-based learning system.

We investigated the factors influencing the adaptation of students at Chengdu University to the credit-based learning system. Subjective factors such as learning interest and study habits, and objective factors such as faculty teaching methods, faculty-student relationships, and student-student relationships, had the strongest impact on the adaptation of Chengdu University students to the credit-based learning system.

Through this, we also offer recommendations to help students at Chengdu University better adapt to learning under the credit-based system.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings of this thesis serve as a useful reference for educational institutions, researchers, lecturers, and others to develop appropriate solutions to help students better adapt to learning activities under the credit-based system.

In general, students were aware of the concept, basic characteristics, the important level of actions and the requirements of the learning activities according to the credit training, duties of students as they participate in learning according to the credit training. However, there are the basic characteristics and requirements as well as the central tasks of students when they participate in learning according to the credit training was not aware of them. Regarding attitudes and actions, the adaptation of students at Thanh Do University are at medium level.

Expression and the level of adaptation in different student groups are different, in which the 3rd year students have a higher degree of adaptation than the 2nd year students; there was a positive correlation between three the expressions of adaptation: awareness, attitudes and actions.

In summary, the adaptation about learning activities according to the credit training of students at Thanh Do University is at medium level.
