The results of the thesis have studied the current situation of poor households and poverty reduction work in Dong Quang commune, Quoc Oai district, Hanoi city. Assessed the causes, difficulties and aspirations of poor households in the commune. From there, applying the community development method in social work to build a project on growing crops to support poor people to increase their income and escape poverty.
11. Practical application:
The topic has the potential to be applied in practice through the construction and implementation of a project directly implemented in the locality. The direct participants in the project are poor households in the locality, project staff and local authorities are the ones who guide and discuss with the people to implement the project.

The topic guides future research on providing solutions and based on the actual situation, building the next projects to support the poor. The model of growing additional crops can be widely deployed to households in general and poor households in particular.

Assess the causes, problems and aspirations of the poor households in the commune. Since then apply methods of community development in social work construction projects increased plantation model to support service of the poor increase their income to escape poverty.
