This thesis focuses on researching and presenting the following basic results:

Chapter 1 of the thesis systematizes the theoretical issues concerning the messaging through photojournalism. The author uses research and document analysis methods to present the most basic concepts of messaging, messaging through photojournalism, etc., as well as to summarize the role and importance of photojournalism in the development of journalism. Simultaneously, it outlines general criteria for the content and form of photojournalism, and requirements for using photojournalism in print and online media.

In Chapter 2, the author used statistical methods and text analysis to summarize the current state of message delivery through photojournalism in Tuoi Tre newspaper. Accordingly, the thesis surveyed 1,500 online articles and 51 print articles published in Tuoi Tre newspaper in the genres of News, Feature Articles, and Photojournalism, providing scientifically valuable survey data to objectively assess the content and form of photo-based messaging.

In Chapter 3 of the thesis, the author raised several existing issues regarding photojournalism in Vietnamese journalism in general and Tuoi Tre newspaper in particular, and proposed solutions to improve the quality of photojournalism in Tuoi Tre newspaper.

11. Practical applications:

Supplementing scientific information about visual communication activities on the Tuoi Tre online newspaper.

Identify existing problems and limitations in journalistic photography on the Tuoi Tre online newspaper, and then propose solutions and recommendations to the Editorial Board to improve the quality of journalistic photography.

In addition, the thesis also contributes to research and teaching materials for the field of journalism and communication on related issues.

The thesis focuses on research and gives some basic results as follows:

Chapter 1 of the thesis systematizes the theoretical issues of the message in the press image. The author uses the research methodology and analyzes the material to give the most basic concepts of the message, the message in the press image,... as well as an overview of the role and importance of press photos for the development of the press.

At the same time, it sets out the general criteria for the content as well as the appearance of the press image, the requirements for the use of press images in print and electronic newspapers.

In Chapter 2, thesis surveys and analyzes in-depth the situation of message transmission via press photographic on Tuoi Tre online newspaper.
