Based on theoretical and practical researchon responding to sexual abuse in adolescents with intellectual disabilities.
The topic builds a theoretical basis for response, sexual abuse, response to sexual abuse, minors with intellectual disabilities, levels and ways to respond to sexual abuse.
From practical research, the topic shows that the level of response to sexual abuse of minors with intellectual disabilities is still low, and the response is instinctive and weak.
In educational institutions for minors with intellectual disabilities, initial attention has been paid to education on the ability to respond to sexual abuse. However, the program is still in the stage of program development and implementation, and there is not yet regular communication between families and teachers.
Cognitive level, personal experiences, family and community attitudes influence the ability of adolescents with intellectual disabilities to respond to sexual abuse.

The research results of the thesis are a useful reference for teachers, parents, and adolescents with intellectual disabilities in responding to sexual abuse.

Grounded on practical and theoretical researches about the coping with sexual abuse in adolescents with intellectual disabilities.
Research presents theoretical basis for the coping, abuse, coping with sexual abuse, adolescent people with intellectual disabilities, level and method of coping with sexual abuse.
Practical results show that the level of coping with sexual abuse in adolescents with intellectual disabilities remains low, the method of response is instinctive and weak.
In the education centers for adolescents with intellectual disabilities, the coping skills are begun to educate. There is no regular exchange between the family and teachers.
The level of awareness, personal experience, attitudes of family and community affect the coping skills of adolescents with intellectual disabilities with sexual abuse.
