10. Summary of the thesis results:

The emergence and continuous development of information technology has created the scientific and technological foundation for the birth of the internet, including online newspapers. The development of online newspapers in Vietnam is only at a relatively good level compared to other countries in Southeast Asia. Although it emerged late, online newspapers in Vietnam have received attention and developed rapidly, attracting increasing public interest.

In fact, nearly 30 years of reform have proven that, despite numerous difficulties and challenges, the online press system in our country has developed in the right direction. The press in general, and online press in particular, in our country serves as a forum for the people; actively promoting and celebrating the achievements of the reform process; discovering and commending new factors and advanced models; participating in the fight against bureaucracy, corruption, waste, negative phenomena, and social evils; and absorbing and promoting the finest aspects of human culture.

Due to the nature of online news, which can be accessed anytime through various means such as text, still images, animated images, audio, or a combination of these, news on online newspapers is usually fast, lively, and rich, and is welcomed by readers. Currently, readers, especially young people, often update information through online newspapers more than print newspapers or television, especially for breaking news such as football, sports, music, and prominent events.

Online newspapers open up the possibility for users to directly and instantly participate in expressing their opinions, commenting, and providing additional information to the newspaper through online forums, discussions, and exchanges. This interactive capability is a prominent advantage of online newspapers; many consider it a strength, and therefore online newspapers are also called online news websites.

This will serve as a reference for journalism students, especially those involved in reporting on economic crimes and corruption cases. Additionally, it will contribute to providing an objective perspective, offering valuable insights for managers of e-commerce organizations regarding the recommendations presented in this thesis.

The formation and continuous strong development of information technology are the science – technology premise for the internet including electronic newspaper. The development of electronic newspaper in Vietnam has just reached the good level in Southeast Asia. Although formed late, electronic newspaper in Vietnam are interested and developed rapidly, and highly attracting attention of the public.

In fact, nearly 30 years of renovation has proved that, in spite of difficulties and challenges, electronic newspaper in Vietnam has developed in the right direction. The press in general, the electronic newspaper in particular in our country is the forum of the people, which actively propagandizes and promotes achievements in the renovation period; detects and praises new and model factors; participates in the fight against capitalism, corruption, waste and social problems; inherits and promotes cultural essence of humanity.

Due to the characteristics of communication of electronic newspaper that are accessible at any time, by various means such as text, static images, animations, sounds or combinations of such means, news of electronic newspaper are communicates fast, lively and accepted by many readers. Currently, readers, especially the youth, often update through electronic newspaper rather than printed newspaper or television, especially the hot news such as football, sports, music and highlights.

Electronic newspaper enables readers to directly access, immediately participate in the expression of attitude, comment, and provide additional information through the form of discussion and online discussion. The interoperability is the prominent advantage of electronic newspaper or strength, therefore, newspaper is also known as online newspaper.
