The thesis provided an overview of Buddhism and its research area – a basis for highlighting the role of Buddhism in the cultural life of the people.

This thesis has highlighted the manifestations of the role of Buddhism in specific aspects of the cultural life of the people in Thai Binh village, Mai Lam commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi.

The thesis assessed the role of Buddhism in people's lives and proposed solutions to enhance the role of Buddhism in the current rural development program as well as in the country's industrialization and modernization process.

11. Practical applications:

The solutions presented in this thesis can be applied in practice to promote the role of Buddhism in Vietnamese society today in general, and especially in the lives of people in new rural areas.

This thesis can be used as a reference for studying, teaching, and researching religion, especially contemporary Vietnamese Buddhism.
