Thesis results include 3 chapters:
Chapter 1: Surveys the theoretical foundations related to the topic, points out the concept, classification and research status of Vietnamese and Chinese reduplicated words in a specific and detailed manner.
Chapter 2: Survey and analysis of the structural, phonetic and semantic characteristics of reduplicated words in Vietnamese and Chinese according to classification.
Chapter 3: Focuses on comparing and contrasting the similarities and differences of reduplicated words in Vietnamese and Chinese in terms of structure, phonetics and semantics according to classification.
Conclusion: Reduplicated words are a very important part of vocabulary, they account for a large number in Vietnamese and Chinese vocabulary, both languages are non-inflected languages, both belong to the type of isolating language, both isolated in phonetics and isolated in grammar, however, reduplicated words in the two languages have many similarities.Reduplicative words also have many differences, many researchers have mentioned reduplicative words in Vietnamese and Chinese, but the author has not compared the similarities and differences of reduplicative words in these two languages. The research results of the thesis will provide basic knowledge about reduplicative words for learners of these two languages, helping learners grasp the knowledge and usage of reduplicative words, avoiding difficulties and related problems in the process of learning and using Vietnamese or Chinese.
11. Practical application:
The research results of the thesis are highly practical and can be applied to teaching and learning foreign languages such as Vietnamese and Chinese in general, and create a foundation for research on reduplicated words in Vietnamese and Chinese in particular.
12. Further research directions:
This thesis focuses on comparing and contrasting reduplicated words in Vietnamese and Chinese in terms of structure, phonetics and semantics. The scope of the study is still very limited, and the corpus is not rich, which makes our new findings in the research process may not cover the entire research situation. The thesis has not mentioned the pragmatics of reduplicated words in Vietnamese and Chinese. However, this thesis can be the foundation for other research directions on reduplicated words.

The thesis consists of 3 chapters:
Chapter 1: Review of theoretical basis related to the thesis, pointing out the concept, classification and research situation of the Reduplicated Words in Vietnamese and Chinese particularly and in details.
Chapter 2: Analysing characteristics of the Reduplicated words in structure, phonetic and semantics in Vietnamese and Chinese by classification.
Chapter 3: Focus on comparing the similarities and differences of the Reduplicated words in Vietnamese and Chinese in terms of composition, phonetics, and semantics.
Conclusion: The Reduplicated words are a very important part of the vocabulary, it occupies a large number of words in Vietnamese and Chinese vocabulary. Vietnamese and Chinese are non-morphological languages, belonging to the single language category. However, there are many differences and similarities about the Reduplicated words in the two languages, Most researchers in previous years have defined and analyzed the Reduplicated words in Vietnamese and Chinese. But, there are few authors analyzing the differences and similarities between Chinese and Vietnamese Reduplicated words. It is a good work if there is a combination in such two languages. The research results of the thesis will provide a basic knowledge of the Reduplicated words for learners. In the future, we hope that future researchers can continue to study the Reduplicated words in Vietnamese and Chinese deeper.
11. Practical applicability:
The research results of the thesis are highly practical, which can be used to improve the quality of works in teaching and learning foreign languages such as Vietnamese and Chinese in general, and provide the basis knowledge for the study about the Reduplicated words in Vietnamese and Chinese in particular. helping the learners to reduce the difficulties in learning.
12. Further research directions:
The corpus of the thesis is mainly Focus on comparing the similarities and differences of the Reduplicated words in Vietnamese and Chinese in terms of composition, phonetics, and semantics, so that the corpus is not diversified, The scope of the research has a lot of restrictions, which makes our new findings in the research process fail to cover the entire research situation of the Reduplicated words. In addition, the thesis does not mention the usage of the Reduplicated word in Vietnamese and Chinese so that limitations are unavoidable.
