10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis focuses on the issues of using graphic information in French online newspapers through a survey of three online newspapers: 20 Minutes, La Croix, and Ouest-France. Simultaneously, the thesis identifies the characteristics and features of the content and presentation of graphic information in these newspapers. Based on this, the thesis offers some suggestions to improve the quality of graphic information in Vietnamese online newspapers.

Chapter 1 of the thesis presented the theoretical and practical issues of graphic information, including some concepts and terminology, the history of the formation and development of graphic information, the characteristics and role of graphic information, its classification, and its forms of expression.

Chapter 2 of the thesis surveys, analyzes, and evaluates the current state of graphic information usage in three French online newspapers: 20 Minutes, La Croix, and Ouest-France in 2017. The surveys and analyses focus on the quantity and proportion of each method of presenting information, including charts, graphs, maps, diagrams, illustrations, and tables. Simultaneously, the thesis presents the characteristics of the content and assesses the effectiveness of graphic information utilization in these newspapers.

Chapter 3 of the thesis points out some current issues regarding the use of graphic information in Vietnamese online newspapers, and from there offers some suggestions to improve the quality of graphic information use in the country's online newspapers.

11. Practical applications:

A systematic study of issues related to graphic information, especially in journalism, is of paramount importance. This thesis will make significant contributions to building and refining the scientific and theoretical foundations of graphic information. Simultaneously, the thesis will provide an overview of the practical application of graphic information in journalistic products, as well as the practical aspects of designing and creating graphic information in media organizations and businesses.

The findings from this survey are expected to serve as a valuable resource for researchers, managers, journalists, and especially those directly involved in and about to create graphic information in the media. Furthermore, this thesis can be used as a resource for lecturers and students in their studies and professional activities.

12. Future research directions:

This thesis can open up many avenues for deeper and more comprehensive research on graphic information, such as graphic information in mass media, multimedia graphic information (video graphics), interactive graphic information, etc.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

The thesis focuses on the issues of graphisme d'information on french online newspapers by making survey about status of infographic using on 3 online newspapers: 20 Minutes, La Croix and Ouest-France. Thus, the thesis draws the characteristics and feature of the content and presentation of infographic on the French online newspaper, giving the suggestions to improve the quality of using graphical information on Vietnamese electronic newspapers at this time.

In chapter 1, the thesis presents the theoretical and practical basis of Infographic including concepts and terminology, history and development of graphical information, characteristics and roles of infographic, classification as well as method of expression of infographic.

In Chapter 2 of the thesis, the Author conducted a survey to assess the status of infographic using on 3 online newspapers including 20 Minutes, La Croix and Ouest-France in 2017.

The surveys, analyzes concentrated on the number of each used method proportion to represent infographic including: charts, maps, graphs diagrams, illustrations, tables. At the same time, the thesis also features the content and effectiveness evaluation of the exploitation of infographic on the french online newspaper.

In chapter 3, by pointing out some realities of Vietnamese online newspaper infographic using, the thesis suggests some solutions to improve the quality of using infographic for domestic online newspapers.

11. Practical applicability, if any:

Researching the infographic related topics, especially in the media, in a systematic manner, is a very important. The thesis makes the certain contributions in building and completing scientific and theoritical basis of graphisme d'information. Simultaneously, the thesis also provides an overview of the practical application of infographic in the media as well as the practice of designing and building infographic in the agency report as well as the business press.

It is expected that conclusions derived from the survey would become a useful resource for researchers, managers, journalists and especially those who directly use infographics in their articles. Simultaneously, the thesis can be used as material for tutors and students to use in their study process as well as their professional activities.

From this thesis, there are some ways to deeper more extensive research on infographics on all the types of media.
