10. Summary of the thesis results:

- Adhering closely to the research axis set by the topic, and based on the theoretical foundations of journalism studies, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized, interpreted, and built a theoretical basis related to the research problem. This is the role and relationship of journalism with gender equality in Vietnam – an important issue contributing to achieving social justice and progress, and promoting sustainable socio-economic development in our country.

- Based on the established theoretical framework, the thesis surveyed and evaluated the current state of information on gender inequality in Vietnam on online newspapers through a survey of three representative newspapers (phunuonline, phunuvietnam, and VnExpress); clearly identifying the strengths and weaknesses, especially the causes of the weaknesses; along with in-depth interviews with experts, leaders, and reporters from media organizations to provide a basis for proposing solutions to overcome the weaknesses.

- Based on the theoretical and practical foundations studied and surveyed, this thesis offers specific proposals and recommendations for relevant agencies to implement issues related to gender equality and for the press to improve the quality of information on gender inequality in the future (Relevant agencies need to effectively fulfill their roles and responsibilities, proactively and positively providing information to the press; closely cooperate and effectively utilize national press agencies; improve the capacity of specialized reporters and journalists; innovate and improve the quality of content and enhance the form of information delivery); practically contributing to helping the press in general, and online newspapers in particular, better fulfill their role and mission in addressing issues related to gender equality in our country during the period when the country is comprehensively promoting industrialization, modernization, integration, and development.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings have potential applications in organizing communication activities on gender equality issues in the future.

12. Future research directions:

Based on the results of this study, further research directions can be developed in the field of gender equality promotion, such as reforming policies, programs, and national goals on gender equality in our country in accordance with the Party's guidelines and the State's laws.
