10. Summary of the thesis results:

- Adhering closely to the research axis set by the topic, and based on the theoretical foundations of journalism studies, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized, and built a theoretical framework related to the research problem. This includes general theories on the commentary genre, perspectives on short commentary articles, and criteria for identification. At the same time, the author also clarifies the characteristics of current online journalism.

- Based on the theoretical issues established, the thesis surveyed and evaluated the current state of using short commentary articles on two online newspapers, Tuoi Tre Online and Tien Phong, through three perspectives: content, form, and characteristics of online newspapers.

Based on the theoretical and practical foundations studied and surveyed, this thesis evaluates the advantages and limitations of short commentaries on the two surveyed newspapers. It then points out the advantages and disadvantages of short commentaries on online newspapers. From this, the thesis proposes several solutions to improve the quality of short commentaries on online newspapers. These solutions focus on: leveraging the strengths of online newspapers; building a team of short commentators both within and outside the newsroom; the role of newsroom leadership; and finally, some suggestions for each individual short commentator.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings can be used as a reference for training and theoretical research in journalism at journalism and media training institutions, research agencies and institutes, and for journalists working in journalistic practice.

12. Future research directions:

Based on the results of this study, further research can be conducted to develop solutions for leveraging the advantages of short commentary articles in current multimedia journalism.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Following closely the research topic oriented, from the foundation of journalism theory, thesis has analyzed, synthesized and built the theoretical basis related to the research problem. These are general arguments in the genre of commentary, views on short commentary forms and identifying criteria. At the same time, the author clarifies the characteristics of the current online newspaper.

Based on the theoretical issues that have been built, the thesis has examined and evaluated the state of using the short form of commentary on two online newspapers, Tuoi Tre Online and Tien Phong through three angles: Work, form of work and features of electronic newspaper.

From the theoretical and the empirical basis studied, the thesis evaluated the advantages and disadvantages of the short commentary on the two newspapers studied. Consequently, the thesis points out the advantages and disadvantages of short commentary on electronic newspapers. Since then, the thesis suggests some solutions to improve the quality of short reviews on online newspapers. That is to focus on promoting the strengths of electronic forms; shaping up a team of short commentators inside and outside the editorial office; The role of the editorial board, and finally some suggestions for the short commentators themselves.

The research results can be used as reference materials for training and research in journalism at media education institutions. Officers, academics, journalists working in journalistic practice ....

From this research, further research can be carried out in developing solutions to promote advantage of the short form of commentary in currently multi-media journalistic activities.
