10. Summary of the thesis results:
The thesis has clarified the following issues:
Firstly, currently, Korean companies are investing heavily in Vietnam, and many Koreans are coming to Vietnam to live, work, and study, so the demand for learning Vietnamese is increasing. However, their need to learn Vietnamese is not yet fully met and they still face many challenges.
Secondly, the current state of teaching and learning Vietnamese among Koreans is reflected in factors related to teachers, learners, and learning methods. Regarding teachers, while there is no shortage of Vietnamese language teachers, there are not many teachers specializing in teaching Koreans, despite the high demand. As for learners, Koreans have motivation and goals for learning, but are influenced by various factors such as time constraints, work environments, and family circumstances, resulting in less than optimal learning outcomes. Regarding learning methods, the existing curriculum, reference books, and assessment systems are outdated, insufficient, and inconsistent, failing to generate significant interest among Koreans learning Vietnamese.
Thirdly, Koreans learning Vietnamese have a significant advantage in phonetics and vocabulary because both languages use a large number of words of Chinese origin. However, this also presents a challenge when they become complacent and fail to learn accurate pronunciation and the six-tone system in Vietnamese. Koreans also struggle with word order in sentences due to the different grammatical structures of Vietnamese and Korean.
11. Practical applications:
Understanding the current state of Vietnamese language teaching and learning among Koreans is crucial in order to make adjustments that better suit the significant demand for Vietnamese language learning within the Korean community in Vietnam.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The thesis clarifies the following:
Firstly, Korean companies are investing heavily in Vietnam, many Koreans come to Vietnam to live, work and study so the demand for learning Vietnamese is increasing. However, their needs for learning Vietnamese have not been fully met and still face many problems.
Secondly, the situation of teaching and learning for Korean when learning Vietnamese is reflected in the factors of the teacher, the learner and the learning method. On the subject of teachers, the number of Vietnamese teachers is not lacking, but there are not many teachers who specialize in Korean education despite the great demand. In terms of learners, Koreans have the motive and purpose of learning but influenced by many factors such as time, working environment, family... so learning is not effective. On the method of learning materials, curriculum system, tools books, capacity assessment system is old, lacking, not synchronous so it does not create much interest for Koreans when learning Vietnamese.
Thirdly, Koreans who learn Vietnamese have a great advantage in terms of phonetics and vocabulary because of the two languages use a large number of Korean origin. However, this is also difficult when they are subjective, do not learn the correct pronunciation and 6 tones in Vietnamese. Koreans also have difficulty in arranging order in Vietnamese and Korean sentences with different grammatical structures.
