10. Summary of thesis results:
Closely following the content of the research topic, from the theoretical basis of journalism, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized, and clarified the basic theoretical framework related to the topic of the district-level Radio Station system in the context of information explosion.
Based on a survey of samples taken at 3 district-level stations with special conditions in Hai Phong (including: Kien An district - urban, Cat Hai district - island, Thuy Nguyen district - rural, mountainous) as well as a survey of public opinion, the thesis deeply studies and comprehensively analyzes all aspects of the operation of the district-level radio station system in Hai Phong. On that basis, it clearly points out the successes, limitations, and issues arising in the operation of district-level stations. Although there are still shortcomings and limitations, it is undeniable that the role, significance, benefits, and specific contributions of the district-level radio station system in information and propaganda work, contributing to the implementation of political tasks at the grassroots level. The model of district-level radio stations still needs to be maintained, especially in areas with many difficulties such as: rural, mountainous, and island areas.
Based on the theoretical and practical foundations studied, in the context of the information explosion as well as the development trend of modern radio and local radio in the world, the thesis proposes specific solutions and recommendations for management levels and district-level stations themselves in directing, operating, and organizing implementation to improve operational efficiency, affirming their role in the radio and television system in the coming time. The core issue is that stations need to build a high-quality workforce, invest in modern facilities and equipment, innovate information content, improve forms of expression, and diversify transmission methods in the direction of focusing on listeners. Along with that, there should also be appropriate mechanisms and policies to create favorable conditions for the system of district-level stations to operate effectively. The thesis recommends that district-level stations should be assigned to be directly under the management of provincial-level Radio and Television Stations; and that district-level radio stations should be recognized as press agencies soon.
11. Practical application:
The research results of the thesis can be applied to district-level radio stations not only in Hai Phong city but also in many other provinces and cities in improving the way of organizing activities, overcoming limitations, promoting strengths, exploiting opportunities in the context of information explosion to improve the quality of activities, affirming the role in information and propaganda work. At the same time, it also helps management agencies and district-level stations to plan policies, develop orientations, build appropriate mechanisms for the grassroots radio and television system, as well as manage this network more effectively.
12. Further research directions:
This thesis can open up many directions for further research on issues related to the district-level radio system in the context of information explosion. For example, research on the development trend of grassroots radio and television in Vietnam, improving the information quality of district-level radio stations, innovating the organizational model of district-level radio stations in the trend of media convergence, multi-platform communication, etc.
