- This thesis studies the process of receiving Molière's plays in Vietnam to understand the imprint, influence, and continuity of Molière's plays on the formation and development of spoken drama. From this, it is possible to explain the influence and changes in Vietnamese theater, especially around the beginning of the 20th century.

- This thesis has explored and investigated the reception of Molière's plays in Vietnam in terms of translation, research and criticism, teaching, and the influence of Molière's plays on the works of three Vietnamese playwrights.

- The thesis emphasizes that Molière's plays have had a significant influence on the formation and development of Vietnamese spoken drama.
