This thesis has synthesized and presented the theoretical basis of presupposition and negative refutation in Vietnamese.

Based on the above theories, the thesis has presented the conditions for making a negative statement and the methods of refutation.

These refutation methods are made possible by the refuting agents they contain. This thesis has classified and described these refuting agents and presented typical refutation models.

The thesis's achievement is the synthesis of various rejection models, allowing for comparison and selection of the best model for application in Vietnamese language teaching for foreigners.

11. Practical applications: This can be used to teach negative and refuting statements to foreigners through the typical refutation models mentioned above, enabling them to understand the meaning of such refutation.

Pre – supposition in the context of negative sentences and its application for lecturing Vietnamese for foreigners.

The thesis has summarized and presented fundamental theories about Pre – supposition and negation sentences in Vietnamese logic and linguistics.

From the above mentioned theories, conditions have been given out to make a negative sentence and methods.

Those negative methods can be made from negative interaction words which have been classified and described by the thesis as well as typical negative models.

The results that the thesis has achieved are to summarize all the different negative models to compare and select the best models applied to the Vietnamese Textbook for foreigners.
